PET Double Nuclide Dispensing Cabinet is a professional protective equipment used to dispense radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine treatment and experimental sites, mainly used to dispense F18 or I131 and other nuclides to protect operators from unnecessary radiation damage. Its dimensions and fittings can be customized according to the needs of customers.
The PET Double Nuclide Dispensing Cabinet usually consists of two parts: the ventilation system and the working area. The ventilation system mainly includes exhaust pipes, fans, filters, etc., which can exhaust the indoor air and filter out the radioactive substances in it. The work area is the area where the radioactive material is handled, and it is usually composed of a table with protective glass to isolate the operator from the radioactive material and make it easier for the operator to observe the treatment of the drug.
Dual-channel independence: Two completely isolated negative pressure chambers can be used to simultaneously pack different nuclides, such as 18F-FDG and 68Ga-DOTA, to avoid cross-contamination.
Intelligent quantification: Two built-in high-precision activity meters are linked to the software, with an error of ≤±2%, and a double-label record can be generated with one click.
High shielding: lead equivalent 50 mmPb, front window 75 mmPb glass, surface dose rate <1 μSv/h, meeting GBZ 120-2020.
Clean airflow: vertical laminar flow ISO 5 level, negative pressure gradient ≥15 Pa, activated carbon and HEPA three-stage filtration to ensure no nuclides escape.
Flexible and maneuverable: The whole machine is equipped with universal casters and can be pushed into the PET room, ward, or vehicle-mounted laboratory, plug in, and used.
The PET double dispensing cabinet can complete the cross-free packaging of dual tracers such as 18F-FDG and 68Ga on the same working day, and has been used in the PET examination room of the nuclear medicine department of the hospital. It can also be temporarily deployed in front of the postoperative feeding room of the scientific research animal center for immediate shielding and waste collection after dual-nuclide administration of experimental animals.
