Lead-lined PET Unit Dose Pig Table is available in varying shielding thicknesses to protect the head and torso from unnecessary radiation exposure. When standard shielding is used to store higher activity or as additional shielding, side shielding or lead bricks can be used to form the wall. There are 7.62cm of lead on each side of the viewing window for maximum head protection. The 20.32 cm square windows are made of 10.16 cm thick leaded glass. This combination of shielding attenuates gamma and beta radiation, leaving the view of the work area unaffected. Block L is made of a steel plate with lead shielding inside. The front wall and base of the unit are of steel construction with built-in lead shielding.
High shielding performance: high-density lead can play a good role in blocking gamma rays or beta rays
Flexible and convenient operation, designed in line with doctors' usage habits, equipped with pulleys and lifting devices for easy operation
Stainless steel finish is easy to clean, corrosion-resistant, anti-oxidation, wear-resistant, and has a long service life
Small footprint, convenient management, and storage
Lead-lined PET Unit Dose Pig Table is a commonly used protective equipment for medical staff when injecting radioactive isotopes for treatment and diagnosis. It is specially used in nuclear medicine injection rooms, operating rooms, imaging examination rooms, and other places that require radiation shielding. It can shield medical staff from harmful rays emitted by the radioactive drug FDG-F18 during the injection process.
