The Clip-Lock Syringe Shield has a dual-function design dual function of allowing a viewing window made of lead glass, along with 2 mm tungsten shielding, which allows a 1 ml syringe to be held securely. Because of this design, the elution process has strong radiation barriers, is visible, and is easy to decontaminate. In nuclear medicine, these devices may be beneficial in shielding the radiation that a medic may be exposed to during injectable procedures.
Clip-Lock Syringe Shield is used for intravenous injection before PET-CT, SPECT examination, or intravenous administration during ¹³¹I treatment. First, put the drug into the protective cover in the injection room, check the sealing of the interface, and then puncture the vein with the needle wrapped in the protective cover, and slowly push the injection through the pressing device, while observing the patient's reaction. After the injection is completed, the disposable syringe can be put into the waste bin for safe disposal through the pressing device.
