Tungsten alloy injection shields are an essential piece of equipment in nuclear medicine departments, primarily used to protect medical staff and patients from radiation exposure. The 8mm thick injection shield body is made of non-magnetic tungsten material. Grooved stainless steel screws are used to secure the syringe inside the shield. A viewing window with a lead glass shielding layer allows for observation of the syringe plunger when necessary. Special sizes and shapes can also be customized.
