Compared to traditional materials like lead, tungsten alloys are denser and, therefore, more efficient at absorbing and scattering rays. We utilize tungsten-nickel-iron alloys that are crafted with high-precision methodologies, such as pressing, injection molding, forging, cutting, and polishing, followed by rigorous quality assurance checks. The tungsten alloy sheath and most of the assembly of the Press-type Wolfram Syringe Shield are designed to allow staff to safely block harmful radiation while performing required standard practices involving injection of the radioactive agent, as required by radiotherapy. The Dorayshield® Syringe Shield can hold 1 ml to 20 ml of medication in the syringe.
1. Medical staff and patients receive the highest level of protection with the syringe shield.
2. Gamma rays and other radioactive pharmaceuticals (F-18) can cause radiation injuries. This shield can help protect the physicians and patients from that danger.
3. It has a long life span, is easy to clean, and is non-toxic and eco-friendly.
4. It is efficient in terms of cost, as it has a long service life and maximum protection can be achieved with little space and materials.
The 2mm Thick Injection Shield is mainly used for radioactive tracing in the field of nuclear medicine, that is, using radionuclides to realize medical diagnosis and treatment of patients, and its main task is to safely store and transport radiopharmaceuticals to protect medical personnel from radiation damage.
