Description Of Mini Beam Tungsten Collimators 

Mini Beam tungsten collimators are made of high-density tungsten alloy, approximately 1.5" diameter x 1.875" length, and are machined from tungsten alloy bars, supplying 3 to 5 half-value layer (HVL) of shielding for IR 192. Customer machine to fit standard source tubes. Mini Beam Tungsten Collimators have an 82-degree cone window that eliminates film cut off, even on short source to film distances.

 

Large diameter beams and End Port Collimators are made as special order. Technical drawing must be provided with your request.
