The TVS Tungsten Radiation Shield Vial is designed to greatly reduce exposure to vials containing liquid radioisotopes. The shield is constructed of 0.48 cm-thick tungsten, equivalent to 1 cm of lead at 150 keV. Vials can be loaded from the top or bottom of the shield. A loss-proof slide injection port on the top allows easy access to the vial septum.
The TVS Tungsten Radiation Shield Vial has excellent characteristics such as high density, strong radiation shielding ability, corrosion resistance, durability, low processing cost, and good sealing.
Various biological research or radiological analysis procedures require the extraction of small samples of radiolabeled products from product vials, which can also be used to extract appropriate doses of radiopharmaceuticals for patients. TVS Tungsten Radiation Shield Vial can safely store and extract various high-energy radionuclides, which can significantly reduce the radiation exposure of medical staff's hands.
