Dorayshield recently successfully exported a batch of specialized radiation shielded syringe carrier boxes to Portugal, valued at $70,000. This collaboration marks the official entry of the company's high-end radiation protection products into the EU medical market and demonstrates its expertise in nuclear medicine safety.
The most recent export of these radiation shield syringe carriers has a composite layered construction filled with high-alloy tungsten material. These boxes demonstrate more than a 98% radiation attenuation for gamma rays emitted by medical radioisotopes such as I-131 and Tec-99m. As with all other similar models, these boxes are EU CE approved as well as compliant with IAEA safety regulations, and moreover, these boxes provide absolute safety of radiopharmaceuticals during transport with temperature monitoring, leak prevention, and anti-shock systems.
These products will be used in the nuclear medicine department of a major medical center in Lisbon, Portugal, addressing the challenges of protecting radiopharmaceuticals during inter-hospital transportation. Dorayshield optimized the handle structure and antimicrobial coating to meet the customer's requirements for portability (single box weight <8kg) and rapid disinfection, earning high praise from the customer's technical team.
This collaboration not only represents the successful export of Dorayshield's product technology but also demonstrates the international recognition of Chinese medical protective equipment. The company will continue to deepen its innovation in radiation protection technology and provide safer and more intelligent radioactive material management solutions to medical institutions worldwide.
