On September 8, 2025, Dorayshield announced the shipment of a successful international order. A batch of lead waste drums, valued at approximately US$30,000 and specifically designed for hospital radioactive waste, was officially shipped from their origin to Argentina. This shipment will provide critical equipment support for the safe handling of radioactive waste in the local medical field.
Sensitive radiological waste requires dedicated shielding containers to contain and prevent the escape of any radiological materials. The lead shielding waste barrels that Dorayshield is selling make use of the proven radiological shielding effectiveness of lead. The barrels have thickened walls that achieve ‘international medical protection standards’ level of shielding effectiveness, which also prevents the adverse effects of nuclear radiation on the surrounding environment and mankind. Moreover, the shielded interfaces of the barrels, along with the anti-corrosion paint and seal, are designed to survive the medical waste storage and transport conditions, which further reduces the probability of waste leakage. The barrels are also monitored by radiation shielding and sealing, and so we meet the adequacy of the Protective Grade lead, which is filled with the strictest and specially controlled production steps. In shipment, Dorayshield works with a qualified and trained transport team to ensure that the whole process is dedicated to safe and compliant protection of the barrels during transport.
This collaboration not only demonstrates Dorayshield's technological strength in medical protective equipment but also lays the foundation for its expansion into the South American medical market. Going forward, Dorayshield will continue to focus on medical protective equipment needs, developing more high-quality products, and supporting the global medical industry in safely handling hazardous waste.
