This customized protective shield is specifically designed for the radioactive properties of technetium-99m (Tc-99m). As the most commonly used tracer in nuclear medicine diagnostics, this radionuclide requires effective shielding of its 140keV gamma rays. Made of high-density tungsten alloy (density ≥18g/cm³), the shield's wall thickness is precisely calculated to attenuate radiation dose to less than 1% of its original value, while maintaining a lightweight design of ≤280g.
